Lazy Toad Games is an independent game studio. We make compact games with clear mechanics, a considered visual style, and a complete play experience — no game leaves before it is ready, and none stays in development so long that it forgets to be fun. We currently look after 1 game, played in browsers, on phones, and on desktops.

We started in 2026 and have kept the same approach since: small, finished games, released as they are ready.

How we work

"Made slow" is not a schedule — it is a commitment to attention. We prefer small, well-defined scopes: each game is built around one core mechanic and then rounded out with visuals, sound, and only the features it needs. No ads, no dark patterns, no timers designed to bring you back.

We publish where you already play: Yandex Games, VK, Telegram, the mobile stores, Steam and itch.io, plus downloadable builds for Windows, macOS, and Linux. Every game's page lists its official links in one place.

The engines

We choose the right tools for each project. Instant browser games run on HTML5; most of our work is built in Godot; larger worlds are made in Unity; and our most ambitious projects use Unreal. The technology is never the goal — what matters is that a game loads quickly, runs reliably, and feels good to play.
